The controller for data processing on this website is Murat Diril Cymbals UG & Co KG, Doerpstraat 11, 24253 Passade, Germany, contact@muratdiril.com. We process personal data only as far as necessary to run the site, the shop and to handle your requests. We use no analytics or advertising trackers.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany). When you visit, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, time, page requested, browser. These logs serve security and troubleshooting and are deleted after a short period (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Shop, cart and checkout (Shopify)

Product data, cart and checkout run on Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). The cart is linked to a random identifier via a cookie ("mdc_cart", 30 days). At checkout, your name, address, email and payment details are processed by Shopify and the payment provider you choose — to fulfil the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Shopify's privacy policy applies in addition.

Language preference

We store your language choice (German/English) in a cookie so you don't have to choose again on every visit. It contains no personal data.

Requests via forms

When you write to us via a form (Custom Made, contact, dealers, endorsement), we store your details in our database on the server in Germany mentioned above, to handle the request and reply to you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data once the request is settled and no statutory retention periods apply.

YouTube videos

Videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Ltd.). Data is only transmitted to Google, and cookies possibly set, once you play a video.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to contact@muratdiril.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Independent Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein.
