Khalil Ed González Hernández

Khalil Ed has born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and is aprofessional musician, drummer, timbalero, producer, director and founder of Zayin Studio. He has a Bachelor’s degree in popular music with a specialization in jazz performance from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Also has share with artist like Víctor Manuelle, Humberto Ramírez, Julito Alvarado, Cachiro Thompson, Richie Flores, Davíd Ortíz (La Mole), Luis Fonsi, Nestor Pou Big Band, Fernando Sanabria, Mucho Manolo, ZayraAlvarez and Victor Emmanuelli (Bomba Evolución) andamong others. Khalil Ed has participated on important events and festivals like The Namm Show, Music Conservatory Jazz festival of Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican parade in Florida, Puerto Rico Jazz Jam, Ventana al Jazz, Ponce Jazz Fest, Bacardi event tribute to Celia Cruz, Fiesta Boricua in Humboldt Park Chicago. He currently Works at Zayin Studio as a producer, mixing and mastering technician as well as a recording session drummer and timbalero, he also leads Batucada Batu Zayin, dedicated to private events and exclusive performance.
