**Julián Rodríguez,**
better known as **“El de los Tarros,”** is a Colombian drummer, music producer, musical director, and session musician recognized for his powerful, dynamic, and clean playing style.
Julián began playing drums at the age of 17 and has been working professionally since 2019. His passion for drums started long before that, growing up surrounded by musicians in his family, including relatives who played metal. As a child, he would grab a pair of drumsticks and turn the living-room sofa into his first drum kit—an early sign of the passion that would eventually shape his career.
As a session drummer, Julián has recorded more than 300 songs for some of the leading names in the regional Mexican and Colombian música popular scenes. His career has included collaborations with artists such as Edwin Luna & La Trakalosa de Monterrey, Yeison Jiménez, Paola Jara, Jessi Uribe, Jhonny Rivera, Joaquín Guiller, and Los Internacionales Rayos de México, among others.
As a live drummer and musical director, he has performed on major stages including Atanasio Girardot Stadium, La Macarena, and Movistar Arena, while also working alongside artists such as André Riobueno, Daniel Merak, and Paulina B.
Beyond performing, Julián is also an active music producer, bringing his experience as a drummer into the creative and production process. His musical identity is deeply influenced by his metal roots, which bring a distinctive edge, power, precision, and energy to his approach to regional Mexican and Colombian popular music.
