Clement Denys
**Professional drummer, educator, and touring musician**, I am active both as a studio and live session drummer. I began playing at the age of 12. I have been the drummer for progressive death metal band **Fractal Universe**, signed to **Metal Blade Records**.
In 2021, I was nominated by *The Progspace* for **Drum Performance of the Year**. I regularly conduct **masterclasses** and have performed on major international stages including **Hellfest**, **70000 Tons of Metal (USA)**, and numerous European tours alongside bands such as **Obscura**, **Evergrey**. My students include professional drummers, educators, and graduates of **MAI Nancy**.
**2025 represents a milestone year**, featuring an intensive touring schedule: back-to-back European tours as **Obscura** and **Beyond Creation** drummer, a U.S. tour performing nightly with both **Fractal Universe** and **Obscura**, followed by an **Asian tour with Thulcandra** in July and another European tour with **Obscura** in September which firmly established my presence on the international metal circuit. 2026 sounds like an other busy year as I'm taking part in A Sonication World tour with Obscura, touring again the U.S, playing 34 shows across Asia / Oceania and major festivals like **Hellfest**.
